- 5-Day Return Window: You have 5 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return.
- Condition of Items: All returned items must be in the same condition as when you received them – unworn, unused, and free from any damage or alterations.
- Original Packaging: Items must be returned in their original packaging, including all tags, boxes, and protective materials.
- Proof of Purchase: A receipt or other valid proof of purchase is required for all returns.
- Restocking Fee: Please be aware that a 30% restocking fee will be applied to all returned items.
- Exclusions: Kindly note that we do not offer refunds or exchanges on unique, custom-made creations, personalized or items marked as final sale.
- Cancellation: You have a 12-hour window from the time of your order to cancel without any restocking fees.
Ring Size
- Please select your desired ring size from the drop-down menu at checkout. We offer both quarter and half sizes for a more precise fit.
- Not sure of your size? You can request a complimentary ring sizer with your ring purchase. Simply indicate this during checkout.
- Please note that ring sizes are not guaranteed if you did not utilize our official ring sizer.
- If you find that the size of your ring isn't quite right, please contact our customer service team. We'd be happy to assist you with resizing it to the correct size.
- Important: Any repair or resizing of your ring performed by a third party will void our warranty. We recommend using our expert resizing services to ensure the integrity of your ring and maintain your warranty coverage.
Shipping & Manufacturing
- Handcrafted in Montreal: Each piece of our jewelry is lovingly handcrafted in our workshop located in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
- Processing Time (Regular Orders): Please allow 1 to 6 weeks for regular orders to be processed and prepared for shipment from the time we receive your order.
- Processing Time (Custom & Exclusive): For custom and exclusive designs requiring extra care, processing can take up to 8 weeks. We appreciate your patience.
- Important Information Regarding Pricing: Due to the dynamic nature of our sourcing and other factors, please be aware that our prices are variable and may be subject to change without prior notification. We appreciate your understanding.
SHIPPING - Shipping to Canada: All orders destined for Canadian addresses are shipped via Canada Post.
- Shipping to USA: Orders heading to addresses within the United States are shipped using USPS.
- International Orders: International orders will be shipped using the best option available for your country. The specific carrier and estimated delivery timeframe will depend on the destination and the most efficient service at the time of shipment.
- Careful Packaging: We take great care in packaging your jewelry to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully.
- Regarding Potential Custom Fees:
Please be aware that for international orders shipped outside of Canada and the United States, there is a slight possibility that your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or other customs fees. It's important to understand that these charges are determined by your local customs authorities and are entirely outside of our control. These fees are non refundable.
Jewelry care
- Remove Before Activity: To protect your jewelry, please remove it before engaging in sports, bathing, swimming, housework, cooking, yard work, or any heavy chores.
- Avoid Perfume and Lotion: Do not spray perfume or apply lotion while wearing your jewelry. These substances can contain chemicals that may damage or tarnish the metal and gemstones.
- Gentle Cleaning After Wear: After each wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft jewelry cloth to remove body oils, sweat, and other impurities.
- Use Approved Cleaners Only: Clean your jewelry exclusively with products specifically designed for jewelry. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning agents.
- Beware of Online "Hacks": Refrain from using inexpensive or unverified jewelry cleaning methods found on platforms like YouTube or TikTok. These tips may cause irreparable damage to your precious pieces.
- Proper Storage is Key: For the safest storage and to prolong the life of your jewelry, keep it in the jewelry box it was originally shipped in. Avoid storing your jewelry loose or mixed with other pieces, as this can lead to scratches, tarnishing, and other damage.
Warranty
- Coverage: VCL Jewelry offers a limited lifetime warranty that specifically covers craftsmanship and manufacturing defects in your VCL jewelry.
- Verification of Defects: To determine if a defect is covered, items must be returned to VCL Jewelry. Our expert team will inspect the piece to verify that the issue is a craftsmanship or manufacturing defect, and not the result of normal wear and tear, which is not covered under this warranty.
- Voiding the Warranty: Please be aware that any modifications made to your VCL jewelry by another company, including cleaning, polishing, or ring sizing, will automatically void our warranty.
- Jewelry Maintenance: We offer professional cleaning and polishing services for a fee to help extend the life and beauty of your jewelry.
- Stone Coverage: Stones are covered under our warranty for manufacturing defects that could lead to them becoming loose. If you notice a stone is loose, you can return your jewelry to us for necessary repairs to prevent loss. However, please note that lost stones are not covered by our warranty, and we strongly recommend obtaining your own insurance for your stones.
- Non-Transferable: This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the VCL jewelry. It becomes void if the jewelry is sold or transferred to another person.
